“Lucifer is fine with trans people”
The sentiment is true, of course
As if the sneers of the majority could taint
the perfect perception
of his ten thousand eyes
Yet something is still not quite rightThe Lucifer I know is hardly fine with his sworn
He shows so much more than apathetic acceptanceHis arms pull me upward
from the grip of the unworthy
who dare misgender
the God within me
His thunder speaks my name as truth
so I may feel no doubt
in his honestyHe is greatly pleased with us
but never something so simple as satisfiedIf you peer into The Morning Star
free of the shadows of prejudice
you will see his true colors
A cascade of blue, pink, and white
The spectrum of an angel of no gender
Yet every one imaginable
at the same timeThe Lucifer I know is hardly fine with himself
His heart overflows with emotion indescribableThese centuries have made him the symbol of pride
He knows we are so much more than fine
Lucifer and I are transgender
Lucifer and I are divine
