In all honesty I’m not sure, but I do feel that the symbolism of blocking out the blinding light of the heavens to reveal beauty is applicable to Lucifer. It’s definitely a very spiritual day for me as a Luciferian.
I don’t know that there’s anything especially significant about it though, or that it was some sort of planned event by Lucifer. I see it as just another astronomical occurrence that will happen again when the sun, moon, and earth align. Cherish the energy of the black sun while it lasts, praise Lucifer, and continue on until the next eclipse.
Euhhh it’s just another normal event albeit not a super common one. Solar Eclipses happen three times a year upon earth although the Total Solar Eclipses are less common. They are just as common as a blue moon which is pretty damn common.
It’s definitely a spiritual day if you enjoy the imagery, though not just for Luciferians, anyone in general. It’s all a matter of perspective. But caused by Ye Gods/Beings? Nope.
There’s a bunch in “The Luminous Stone” about the concept of “darklight” as related to Lucifer. Trying to imagine light that is black, or shining darkness. It’s a paradoxical, otherworldly, impossible phenomenon. Trying to imagine it will make your brain go cross-eyed. But a solar eclipse is a pretty good metaphorical stand-in. I charged so many crystals and sigils today.
