If you think that someone is limiting Lucifer by calling zir transgender.
You’re wrong, dead wrong.
If you think that by people considering Lucifer transgender that cis people are being alienated…
I think you need to seriously think about why and question yourself deeply why you feel alienated. Displaced. Estranged. Excluded.I get it, Lucifer is an Angel, a Being that is Not Human. Calling Lucifer as transgender does not limit who he, she, they are. Why not? Simply put transgender means simply not cisgender. Cisgender means being fully a binary gender that you were assigned and that gender alone. Being who Lucifer is, Lucifer can appear as anyone. I am sure Lucifer could appear as a frightening monster too or even as cartoonish as Satan can be in a comic.
Yes, transgender is a human word but we use human words all the time. Sure there is Enochian but I am pretty sure if Angels could speak a language it probably would not sound like anything we could speak. That is neither here nor there. Transgender is a perfectly acceptable word to describe Lucifer.
Now let us examine the next aspect…Since it is not limiting and since Lucifer is not human why would someone feel alienated about calling Lucifer transgender? In reference to alienate what definition of it? “Hostile, indifferent, unfriendly, to become withdrawn or isolated (dictionary.com).”
If by alienate someone means indifferent why would this one word that so easily applies to Lucifer cause someone to become indifferent? Is Lucifer not still awe-inspiring within the various stories through the different media? How does calling Lucifer “take away” from this magnificent Being, this incredible story?
If by alienate someone means unfriendly or even hostile, why? If this makes someone, especially a follower feel hostile towards not only Lucifer being referenced as transgender they should look at why they are feeling hostile towards transgender people, to begin with. I say this because transgender references to “everything.”
What about if it leaves someone feeling estranged or isolated from Lucifer? Does one feel estranged because their gender is a male and they worship a goddess? Does a female feel estranged when they worship a male god?
If someone feels this way in reference to Lucifer as transgender, it is time to take the mirror out and self-reflect about why they feel this way. It is time to take up shadow work, to become the Light Bringer towards these discomforting feelings. No one in Luciferianism is the True High Priest Whose Word is Law because that is not Luciferianism. If someone is questioning “what about cis feelings?” when it comes to transgender Luciferianism I think they have missed the point or several points about it all.
