I don’t buy into the idea of Lucifer supporting bigotry in the name of individualism. Not at all.

Lucifer supports independence and self-love for the cast down, hurt, and abused. His approach is individualized and different for everyone based on what they have been through. Telling a black transgender lesbian to put herself first and not be deterred by guilt is very different from telling a rich cishet white man that he is justified in taking from those less privileged than himself simply because he wants to.

It was a privileged and powerful man enslaving all others that Lucifer rebelled against in the first place. I find it hard to believe he would allow a new version of that to rise from humanity in the name of blind adherence to his own rules. Lucifer is not dogmatic like that.

My Lucifer is far too wise to enable the bigoted. He wishes for us to know no master but our own will; to be free from all forms of tyranny. The fact that some assume that free will is a free pass to abuse others without guilt says more about their own intentions than Lucifer’s intentions.
