Build-a-spell Basics

babysummoner:

So you want to cast a spell to do a certain thing but the Google overlords are letting you down with being unable to find something that fits your exact needs? Well may I suggest weaving your very own spell together to do the thing?

It can be daunting to make your own spell, especially if your new or have some idea that everything must follow strict rules.

This list can be adapted to fit any type of ‘Crafting a person might practice. This are not hard rules, bend them in whatever direction you need them to go in order to fit into your situation.

  1. What do you want to happen? In your spell book, or online doc, write down what you want this spell to accomplish.
  2. Pick the method of casting to best achieve results. Sigils are great for slow release spells, jars and satchels are best for area of effect spells, jewelry for enchantments, etc.
  3. Research. Look online for similar spells, what do others use for theirs? What do you want to change?
  4. Decide what you need for your spell. If you’re making a jar spell, gather ingredients that you already have to use in the spell. This means researching different meanings and uses of objects. Raid your spice cabinet, most of what’s in there fills out a large list of spell types.
  5. Keep it simple. Don’t over complicate things, the more items you add to a spell the more ways it has of going wrong. And the universe is kinda a dick so there will be things that go wrong.
  6. Don’t be afraid to ask an object if it’ll loan you it’s energy to your spell. If you’ve got a glass jellyfish and you’re casting an stinging curse it’s okay to ask it to help you.
  7. Create the energy key. You know those words people make you chant 3 times over a glass of whatever? That’s an energy key. It’s focusing your intent + energy and pushing it into the universe path to make it pay attention. Key’s don’t have to be long and complex. If all you want is ‘The best mac and cheese’ make that your key. If haiku’s are more your thing use that. Once the key is made you can use it again and again later because you’re inserting it’s blueprint into the universe at this moment. Sigils are the picture version of an energy key.
  8. Craft the object for the spell. Mix your ingredients, draw the sigil, stuff the jars. The ingredients should compliment the energy key’s purpose in life.
  9. Weave, draw, whisper, or however else your energy key onto the object from step 7.
  10. Congrats! You’ve made a spell!
  11. Make more, write notes, test results, experiment. And most importantly don’t force yourself to fit in a square if you happen to be more octagonal shaped. Meaning, do what feels right not what the internet says is best.
  12. Oh, and clean between ‘crafting. Types of energy can be stick and you don’t want that curse goo messing with luck enchantments.
Quote

A lot of traditional leftist rhetoric stemmed from obsolete work-ethic notions: the bourgeois were bad because they didn’t do productive work, whereas the worthy proletarians deserved the fruits of their labor, etc. As labor has become increasingly unnecessary and directed to increasingly absurd ends, this perspective has lost whatever sense it may once have had. The point is not to praise the proletariat, but to abolish it.

I love this collection of sigils, but it is annoying difficult to read and impossible to search, so I typed it up as best I could. This was mostly for personal reference and I’m not terribly familiar with demons so there’s probably a few mistakes, but if anyone wants it, knock yourself out. As far as I know, the source on this is totally forgotten, but if someone knows it, please feel free to add it on!

Ghost- He Is

Fun fact: the unpronounceable Hebrew name of God, YHWH, sorta roughly translates as “He Is” (Citation: The Birth of Satan by T.J. Wray and Gregory Mobley).  So this is some subtle, literate, and high-level blasphemy from the most blatantly Luciferian band I have encountered.

Also? Did you order feels? Because here are your feels.

Grigorology

As a Luciferian and Demonolater, my experiences with these spirits have only left me eager to meet with and learn more from them. I’ve always had a love for the fallen angels- their stories, their wisdom, their personality- you name it. But there are those who aren’t so popular. Those who aren’t so well known. And these angels are the Grigori, the Watchers.

All we know of the Watchers are the basic stories: they were among the first to descend to earth, they fell in love with mortals, taught them the forbidden arts, and thus had sinned and were cast out of Heaven. But surely, there is much more we don’t know. Those who were cast out with Lucifer get the spotlight. They have had countless grimoires written with their names and powers and personalities, most famously by Solomon’s doing. These spirits are much more recognizable by people, even across the centuries, and the ones who are most commonly worked with, and even bonded with. But what about the Watchers?

What became of these leaders? What are their stories? What do they have to offer to us, if anything anymore? Where do they reside? Perhaps they exist in the same realm as the fallen who followed Lucifer, or somewhere else entirely. Perhaps they endlessly wander between the many planes of existence, lone and free. Or maybe they really were bound and thrown into the abyss.

In any case, it’s safe to assume they don’t get much recognition for who they are and what they did for humanity. But there is so much mystery surrounding them. They fascinate me. And I’ve decided it’s time I reach out to these wandering spirits. I want to learn more about them, I want to commune with them, I want to create experiences with these mysterious fallen angels.

And so I came up with the term Grigorology- the study of the Grigori, the study of the fallen Watchers. I find that these spirits don’t quite fit in with the terms Angelology or Demonology, at least in my personal opinion. They are not angels of Heaven any longer, yet I also do not see them aligned with the alleged hierarchy of Hell and Lucifer himself. I see them as loners, as wanderers, forgotten and part of no system. They are outside both Heaven and Hell. Perhaps that is what draws me to them the most. These Watchers, once hosts of Heaven, they are now damned in sin; however, belonging to neither side. They are true Outcasts. Some could simply say that since they are fallen angels, they are automatically demons, thus they reside in Hell. But I believe there is more to the story. And I want to learn.

If anyone else out there is interested in these fallen angels, in Grigorology, I’d very much love if you’d chat with me! And yes, I highly doubt I’m the first to reach out to them, but hey…I haven’t met a single soul out there who is fascinated by them like I am. I hope I do, or at least I hope this long rant post will spark some interest in some of you. Or simply do me a favor and spread this post around. I think something great could start out of this, alongside others or even on my own!

darkmlm-suggestion:

When he fell from the heavens, the Earth herself shook. The world was in a movement of confusion as he descended, crashing wildly, inflicting terror.

You were the only one there who saw him fall though. You saw the way the deity’s light shifted to a physical form and landed so utterly solid. The sound was enough to knock anyone back, and yet you stood strong, watching as shoulders rose from the site of the crash, then a hand, then a face.

You knew immediately this creature was a god, but you never expected something so simply perfect. What was this feeling? Your mind raced as you struggled to find the word, the name. Then, suddenly, it was given to you.

“Love. You’re in love with me,” spoke the fallen god, and you sunk to your knees in breathless reverence.

FUCK ME UP WHY DON’T YOU
