So, I’ve never formally worked with Babalon and my direct experiences with her have always accidental. I’ve felt drawn to her for a very long time but I’ve always been a bit gun shy about calling her directly. She is no fucking joke and she will wreck your shit without a second thought – just look what happened to poor Jack Parsons.
If you’re a hetero or bisexual male, I would think very long and hard about what you’re looking to get out her and whether or not there’s a safer way to get it. The road to Babalon is littered with the corpses of male magicians who tried to know her and were annihilated in the process. I would also be very, very careful about viewing her as a passive receptacle or a purely sex-oriented entity.
I would also give the fact that Babalon’s beckoning leads the magician directly into the Abyss some very serious consideration. Is that something you’re genuinely ready for?
Basically just be careful, she isn’t something to mess around with lightly.

A Caim
A caim is another type of protective invocation. I jacked this one from the Carmina Gadelica, a resource I plan to mine for all it’s worth. It’s part of a larger prayer, but this verse spoke to me of Lucifer, so I changed the second to last line and stuck it here.
While reciting it, direct energy out of your dominant hand and trace a circle around you, spinning in place.

How DOES one get out, if you don’t mind my asking?
Well, you could either get out yourself by finding your way out. Or a Faery Doctor would have to help you.
Getting yourself out relates to soul recovery. Part of your soul could get lost in Faeryland and you must get it out again and reunite with that part of yourself.
Look I don’t think of Lucifer as fae but Adam and Eve weren’t “supposed” to eat the apple either and I think that worked out fine for them. In fact that legend is probably part of why people see a fae connection.
